This adorably festive romper is the perfect outfit for baby's first Christmas this year! This romper features a hand-embroidered bodice repurposed from a gorgeous vintage tablecloth. The fun and festive nordic-style bodice is contrasted with sweet flutter details, gathered bubble bottom, and 3/4 length sleeves for warmth during the winter season, all made from a soft red linen-blend fabric.
The romper closes in the back with three pearl snaps for convenience, as well as three snaps in the saddle for easy diaper changes. The bodice is fully lined and all exposed seams are serged for professional look and quality.
This listing for a 6/12 MONTHS size romper. It measures approximately 19.5" around the bust/chest and is about 15.5" from shoulder to snaps.
Please note: This fabric was unfortunately not in perfect condition, as is the case with many vintage textiles, and there is a tiny bit of slight staining on the back of the bodice near the bottom snap. I have highlighted it in the last photo. This stain has not been stain-treated at all, so it may be removed/improved upon with a bit of effort (I've had luck with a combination of Oxi-clean and sun-drying in the past). As you can tell from the photo, it is hardly noticeable and it does not affect the wear of the piece at all.
Fabric is pre-washed (in dye and perfume-free detergent), so minimal additional shrinking should occur. Due to vintage nature of the fabric, it is recommended that the item be washed by hand to maintain the integrity of the materials, but laundering in cold water on the gentle cycle will also be ok.
